    CAS No.: 71050-62-9

    Performance and Applications

PR-164 phosphino-polyacrylic acid PCA has good dispersion performance on calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate scale in circulating cooling water, and also has a good inhibitory effect on the deposition of barium sulfate, strontium sulfate and silica scale. It has good thermal stability and strong chlorine resistance. PCA is widely used for scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition of industrial circulating cooling water systems and oilfield reinjection water systems; used in papermaking, ceramics and other industries, with performance better than acrylic products; it can also be used for dispersion and scale inhibition on boilers.
