Performance and Applications

Copolymer PR-615 is a new type of ternary polyelectrolyte scale inhibitor and dispersant containing sulfonate. Because the molecular chain of the copolymer contains strong acid, weak acid and non-ionic groups at the same time, it is suitable for use under high temperature, high pH, high hardness and high alkalinity conditions, and has an excellent inhibitory effect on the deposition of iron oxide, calcium phosphate, zinc phosphate and calcium carbonate in water.

Copolymer PR-615 has high calcium tolerance, and has good compatibility with common water treatment agents such as polyphosphates, zinc salts and organophosphonates.

Copolymer PR-615 is suitable for use as a scale inhibitor and dispersant in industrial circulating cooling water treatment, oilfield water injection treatment, boiler water treatment, and turbid circulating dust removal water treatment in petrochemical, chemical, metallurgical, electric power and other industries.

Usage Method

The normal dosage of copolymer PR-615 scale inhibitor and dispersant is 2-40 mg/L, the specific dosage depends on different water quality conditions, and it can be used in combination with zinc salts and organophosphonic acids (salts). When used for dispersing iron oxide, the dosage is generally 80-100 mg/L, and the dosage for specific applications shall be determined according to actual tests.

Packaging and Storage

Copolymer PR-615 is packed in plastic drums, Standard capacities: 25kg, 250kg, 1250kg (IBC tank).Note: Packaging weight can be adjusted according to customer requirements.Store in a cool indoor place. The shelf life is twelve months.

Safety Protection

Copolymer PR-615 is weakly acidic. Pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
