Performance and Applications

EDTMP·Na₅ is a neutral product, a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphonate, belonging to cathodic corrosion inhibitors. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with excellent chemical stability and temperature resistance, and still has good scale inhibition effect at 200℃. It can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions in aqueous solution, thus it can chelate with multiple metal ions to form macromolecular network complexes with multiple monomer structures, which are loosely dispersed in water and disrupt the normal crystallization of calcium scale. EDTMP sodium salt has an excellent scale inhibition effect on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale.

EDTMP·Na₅ is used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor for circulating water and boiler water, a complexing agent for cyanide-free electroplating, a water softener for the printing and dyeing industry, and power plant cooling water treatment, etc.

The solid product of EDTMP·Na₅ has slight hygroscopicity, which is convenient for transportation and use in cold conditions.

Packaging and Storage

EDTMP·Na₅ liquid is packed in plastic drums, Standard capacities: 25kg, 250kg, 1250kg (IBC tank).Note: Packaging weight can be adjusted according to customer requirements. The solid is packed in plastic bags lined with polyethylene bags, with a net weight of 25kg per bag, or customized according to user requirements. Store in a cool and dry indoor place, keep away from moisture. The shelf life for both solid and liquid is ten months.

EDTMP·Na₅ is neutral. Pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
