  • Product Performance

PO-300 reverse osmosis flocculant is a macromolecular flocculant compounded from precision-processed inorganic salts and water-soluble high molecular polymers. In addition to the strong charge neutralization capacity and adsorption-flocculation effect of inorganic macromolecular flocculants, it also has the powerful adsorption bridging effect of organic macromolecular flocculants.

    Product Features

It is a water-soluble high molecular weight organic flocculant, featuring rapid floc formation, fast coagulation speed, dense and firm flocs as well as excellent sedimentation performance.

It has a wide applicable pH range of water bodies.

It also has the effect of turbidity removal, bacteria elimination and algae killing.

It is not affected by chlorination treatment and will not increase the content of soluble metals (aluminum, iron) in the treated water.

It improves the solid-liquid separation rate and can extend the operation cycle of filters during direct filtration.

    Application Method

    Dosing Point

To achieve maximum efficiency, it is recommended to add PO-300 before the sand filter.

    Dosing Amount

The required dosing amount of PO-300 flocculant shall be calculated according to the feed water turbidity, suspended solids and colloid content. After treatment, the SDI value (Silt Density Index) can be lower than 3, the residual turbidity (NTU) is generally around 0.067, and the removal rate is generally about 80%, with significant sludge reduction. The recommended dosing amount is 2–10 ppm.

Please consult Prio technical engineers to determine the dosing point and dosing amount for your specific system conditions. Specific dosing points and injection equipment are required in some systems.

    Dilution

For application, it is recommended to prepare into 10–20% concentration aqueous solution. Neutral water free of salts and impurities is preferred for preparation. The agitator speed in the dissolving tank should not be too high.

    Packaging, Storage, Transportation and Precautions

Packed in plastic drums, with specifications of 25kg/drum, 200kg/drum or customized as per customer requirements. Store in a cool and dry place with a shelf life of 12 months. Pay attention to labor protection during operation; avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and other mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse the affected area thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
