Product Performance
In the raw water pretreatment process, chlorinated oxidizing bactericides need to be dosed to inhibit microbial growth. The residual chlorine from oxidizing bactericides will oxidize reverse osmosis membrane elements and shorten the service life of membrane elements. The active ingredients in this product can rapidly decompose residual chlorine, protect membranes from oxidation, and are used to remove residual chlorine and combined chlorine in the feed water of membrane intake systems.

Application Method
Dosing Point
To achieve maximum efficiency, PO-400 reverse osmosis reducing agent shall be added before the mixer or cartridge filter. Stir thoroughly for 5–10 minutes when preparing the chemical solution, and clean the dosing tank regularly.
Dosing Amount
The required dosing amount depends on the residual chlorine content. Generally speaking, 2 ppm of the agent is required to remove 1 ppm of residual chlorine. Dilute the agent with demineralized water or other soft water. Please consult Prio technical engineers to determine the dosing point and dosing amount for your specific system conditions. Specific dosing points and injection equipment are required in some systems.
Dilution
The maximum dilution concentration is 20%. The diluted solution must be used up within one week, as it will fail due to oxidation by oxygen in the air.
Packaging, Storage, Transportation and Precautions
Packed in plastic drums, with specifications of 25kg/drum, 200kg/drum or customized as per customer requirements. Store in a cool and dry place with a shelf life of 12 months. Pay attention to labor protection during operation; avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and other mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse the affected area thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
